A leaning post. A gate that drags. A section flat on the ground after a storm. Fence repair is one of the jobs almost nobody wants: too small for the fence companies, too involved for a weekend. That is exactly the kind of work we take.

Text photos to (980) 391-6833 and we will tell you what it needs.

We check the posts first

A fence is only as good as what holds it up. Boards and panels are the part you see, but the post is the part that decides whether this is a repair or a replacement. So that is where we start, before anyone quotes you a whole new fence line.

  • Posts solid, boards bad. That is a repair, and a fast one.
  • One or two posts gone, rest of the line fine. Reset or replace those posts and rehang the sections.
  • Posts failing down the whole run. We will tell you. Bolting new panels to rotten posts is money you spend twice.

The jobs we get called for most

Leaning posts after a wet spring. Gates that stopped latching once the ground moved. Pickets that went soft at the bottom where the mulch sits against them. Sections that came down in a thunderstorm and are sitting in the yard waiting on somebody.

None of those need a new fence. They need somebody to show up, and that is the part most homeowners cannot get.

Signs You May Need Fence Repair

Not sure if you need help? Here are common signs it's time to call a professional.

A post leans and takes the section with it
The gate drags on the ground or will not latch
Pickets are soft, split, or falling out
A section came down in a storm
The bottom of the boards is dark and crumbling
Rails have separated from the posts
The fence moves when you push on it
A neighbor's tree took out part of the line

How It Works

We make getting quality fence repair simple and stress-free.

1

Free estimate, photos first

Text photos to (980) 391-6833 or request an estimate online. A shot of the leaning post, one of the gate, and one down the fence line is usually enough for a real number.

2

Repair or replace, said plainly

We check the posts before anything else, because a fence is only as good as what holds it up. If the posts are solid, it is a repair. If they are gone, patching panels onto them is money you will spend twice.

3

Fix it and set it right

Reset or replace failed posts, rehang and realign gates, swap rotted boards and rails, and re-secure the sections so the line is straight again.

4

Clean up and walk it with you

Old material hauled off, holes filled, gate opened and closed in front of you so you know it works before we leave.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you repair just the section that failed?

Usually yes. One leaning post or one section down after a storm is a repair, not a new fence. What we check first is whether the neighboring posts are still solid, because replacing panels on failing posts puts you back here next season.

My gate drags and will not latch. Is that fixable?

Almost always. A dragging gate is usually a sagging post, worn hinges, or a frame that has racked out of square. We reset the post, rehang with proper hardware, and realign the latch. A gate wheel helps on wide gates.

How much does fence repair cost?

It depends on how many posts and sections are involved and what the fence is made of. Our minimum for any repair visit is $300, and you get the price before we start.

How fast can you come out?

For a section down, a gate that will not close, or anything keeping a dog or a pool unsecured, call (980) 391-6833 and we will prioritize it. Standard repairs are usually scheduled within the same week.

Do you repair vinyl and aluminum fences?

Yes. Vinyl panels, caps, and rails, and aluminum sections and pickets. The repair is different from wood but the first question is the same: are the posts still holding.

Storm took out part of my fence. Do you work with insurance?

We document the damage with photos and give you a written scope and price you can hand to your adjuster. We do not file the claim for you, but the paperwork we leave is what they ask for.

Do you work in South Charlotte and Ballantyne?

Yes. South Charlotte, Ballantyne, Pineville, Matthews, and the surrounding Charlotte neighborhoods.
